Task: How to develop an Internet page, which represents completely the complicated relationships between the separate services and technologies, which the software integrator Balkan Service offers and how the corporative page to become an etalon for each client, implementing ERP, CRM and BI software systems.
The solution
When we took over the project, the client within 2 years and with no limited budget and resources, had made their way to structure the assignment and to present good background information to his web developer – one of the leading web agencies eDesign. The result was the development of a website, which reflected a small part of the client’s complicated business, but wasn’t showing the company’s experience and was not contributing to the sales team optimally.
We started the project with detailed research of the business structure and the web pages of the leading integrators in the world. We had detailed professional interviews with over 10 of the company managers and got thoroughly acquainted with the advantages, which Balkan Services’ clients possess. Last but not least, we put ourselves into the shoes of those who will use the site and looked at it with their eyes – the way that they will search information and what do they expect to see.
As a result, we developed completely new pattern for presenting the information, which corresponded to the basic requirements of the client and the customers:
- to turn the web site into powerful platform for identifying and attracting new clients (that’s why our solution was to make each page a landing one and to have Call-To-Action);
- to structure the information in a way that people will be looking for it (we brought to front the problems which are resolved by introducing the software, the industries, in which the potential clients are working, the technologies that are put into use, the services, which Balkan Services could offer);
- We structured the text information (the themes, size of the text, key words, links, references and so on);
- We developed the wire-frames, by which the web developers, in the face of eDesign, to develop the site.
The result
The new Balkan Services’ web site has all the preconditions to turn into one of the best on the local market, regarding the way of presenting information in the area of software integrators of ERP, CRM and BI solutions.
The huge amount of information is provided in an intuitive way, corresponds to the needs of both the different departments of the company and the needs of the customers.
